Happy Ending
One thing I’ve been taught
Is that life is nothing if not short.
Many people choose to just coast,
But it’s better to make the most.
Some get all the luck- they’re enchanted,
Some people take everything for granted.
But it’s really of no relevance to you
What other people elect to do.
We can only make the most of our life- we’ve only got one,
And in the blink of an eyelid it could all be gone.
Sadly we don’t have nine,
That's the remit of the feline.
Approach each day like it's your last,
And make sure you're having a blast.
Review how your time, you are spending
And make sure you’re working on your happy ending.
